A most unexpected and stunning temple, designed by 53-year-old Chalermchai Kositpipat, Wat Rong Khun is located close to Chiang Rai. Begun is 1997, it is still under construction.

Angkhang Nature Reserve is King Bhumibol’s inspired 1969 project to convert poppy fields into top quality vegetable and fruit gardens, as well as gorgeous flower gardens. One of many such projects, it creates permanent jobs for the local hill tribes.

Thailand’s second largest city, located in the north central part of the country, is the home of The Prince Royal’s College (K-12) founded in 1887 by Bud’s missionary grandparents, David and Ada Collins. We have grown fond of this city.
